Introduction
The CS8 PRO PLUS takes the CS8 PRO platform a shop already knows — the same 1900 mm frame, ink system, drive, heating and feed — and fits it with the second-generation Epson i3200-A1-2 print head. Everything learned on one machine carries straight to the other, and the two share a spare-parts kit. The A1-2 is the current head generation and the reason to specify this build: on our sixteen-head platform, the same A1 → A1-2 change adds roughly a third more output, so expect significantly higher production speed than the CS8 PRO. - Second-generation print head Epson i3200-A1-2 in place of the A1 — the current head generation, and the single difference between this machine and the CS8 PRO.
- Variable droplet, 3200 dpi VSDT variable droplet technology with a 3.8 pL minimum and 12.3 pL maximum drop, and six or more variable droplet sizes up to 3200 dpi.
- Magnesium-aluminium platform Print platform and crossbeam in high-strength aluminium-magnesium alloy — higher rigidity and precision at lower weight.
- Imported linear guides Hiwin or THK high-speed guide rail: higher precision, longer life, lower noise.
- AC servo drive Leadshine AC servo motor control for high resolution, stability and repeatable performance.
- Optical-fibre data path 1.25G bi-directional optical fibre transmission keeps image data stable at full speed.
- Constant-tension feed and take-up Industrial auto feed and take-up with air shaft, running rolls of up to 500 m of ultra-thin material.
- Sectional infrared heating External infrared heating and cooling system with independent subdivision control and sectional heating.
