Introduction
UV DTF is a different business from textile DTF: instead of pressing ink into fabric, it prints UV ink onto an A film, cures it, laminates a B film over the top and produces a transfer that peels off and sticks onto a hard surface. Glass, metal, packaging, phone cases — anything with a smooth face, and no heat press or powder involved. This 620 mm machine carries four Epson heads with a fixed division of labour: one for CMYK, one for white, one for varnish and one for GV, all laid down in the same pass. Gold foil runs alongside the A+B film. An integrated suction panel holds the media flat, a white-ink stirrer and circulation loop keeps the white in suspension, and front, middle and rear heaters plus hot stamping are each controllable on their own.
